Welcome to Wayzata Periodontal Center. It is our goal to help you better understand your course of treatment and answer any questions related to periodontal care. We strongly believe that our patients' comfort is an integral part of quality dental care. Because of this we strive to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Wayzata Periodontal Center specializes in the treatment of gum disease through the use of laser assisted periodontal surgery and implant dentistry to replace single or multiple missing teeth.

Laser periodontal (gum) therapy is a specialized field that requires extensive knowledge and experience to correct periodontal disease and infection effectively. Air-water cooled laser comfortably kills the bacteria associated with periodontal disease and removes the infected tissues associated with gum disease pocketing to save teeth that may have once been considered beyond repair. Dr. Patrick Murphy has been utilizing laser gum therapy for over 18 years and Dr. Renee Camara for over 9 years.
Dental implants provide a stable and comfortable replacement of missing teeth. Implants are integrated directly into your bone structure resulting in a more realistic, comfortable look and feel, as well as a more lasting solution to the problem of missing teeth.
Crown lengthening and Laser gingival contouring , also known as gingival sculpting, is the process of reshaping the gum tissue around your teeth. This can enhance your smile and improve your oral health.
Bone Grafting is a regenerative process done in conjunction with periodontal surgery to replace missing bone or add to existing bone.
Soft tissue grafting can be used to cover roots or develop gum tissue where absent due to excessive gingival recession.

Dr. Patrick Murphy has been practicing periodontics at our current location for 38 years and utilizing laser-assisted periodontal surgery for 16+ years.
